What was the funding used for ?

Since five years the VACS has been teaching the Dabka (a folkloric dance in Palestine) to children between 6 and 16 years old. The TAMTEEN grant was used for covering two main purposes. First of all the VACS could purchase and supply equipment : 2 speakers, 2 batteries, 1 UBS, and uniforms (1650 euros). Second, the funding was used to implement trainings for 60 children on Dabka and other Palestinian folklore. The budget was for this component its covered by our NGO as direct contribution to the project.

How did this funding contribution provide sustainability to your organisation and improve the quality of the implementation of your work ?

The equipment supplied to our NGO will be a sustainable assets. We will use these equipment for conducting several activities which will improve the quality of our work in the future and create new programs.
