How did this grant contribute to the realization of your project in regard to artistic exchange, local cultural development and/or the promotion of cultural diversity?

First of all, I have to mention the community, which contained 67 artists from all over the world who were invited to the Festival. we lived together and participated different workshops and festival art works and discussed different opinions of ours. so that I could find the artists, with whom I was able to define common projects and it was the beginning point of our cooperation. on the other hand participating in such vast art scene, which includes artists who had performances there and the ones who held the workshops, curators and etc. which enabled me to get to know the contemporary dance family from all over the world and present them my working atmosphere, barriers, materials and etc. as an Iranian artist who works in underground atmosphere of dance.

How does exchange, networking and international contacts contribute to the development of your artistic and cultural project?

Since every development is based on learning, which comes from networking and realizing different atmospheres, I have made strong connections with artists, which enables me to connect different environments of art as a curator and also invite them to take part in our underground dance festival in Iran, in order to perform and also hold workshops. How ever, I myself will try to share what I have gained from the festival with our underground community in Iran, through holding workshops and performs.

Can you elaborate on the learning and knowledge you have gained and shared throughout this experience?

As I have mentioned before, participating the Impulstanz festival, which is a vast art scene, was a great opportunity to meet and learn new different cultures, and artists who came from them. Also, the opportunity to attend various workshops, and seeing different performances, enabled me to learn lots of stuff. in order to mention briefly, from the "dynamics of fluids and sensorial memories" research project, I got to work on internal and external pulses of movement, internal mobility connection as a fluid to extend it to external environment, working outdoors and in urban environment in order to get the different impulses. "shamanic improvisation potential" workshop, guided me through improvisation practices, focused on individual body in a group and developing a group motivation by means of repeating and atmosphere alteration, some thing like ritual ceremonies. from the experience, which I got from Doris Uhlich, as my mentor, I got to work on effects of repeating and intensity on creation of movement frequency, and doing the movement research by its applications. discussion and investigating the cultural challenges and the history of the body and working on releasing the body and non-human body. In a research project, named "Radio Show", I learned to work with sound equipments, working on live broadcasting and sound production with body. Also by working with Ivo Dimchev, I got to work on the connection between the voice and movement, separation of different layers of sound and movement production. Also, there are lots of other things to mention, but the main parts were described as well.
