The RCF elected member of the Euromed France board
Le REF – Réseau Euromed France is a network of 37 French civil society organisations (associations, collectives and trade unions) and individual members working in countries around the Mediterranean. REF and its members work in a wide range of key areas: education and youth, arts and culture, migration, the social economy, the environment, gender equality, human rights, research, etc. REF is a French platform with members all over France and its headquarters in Montreuil.
All REF members share the same values and the same desire to work with all the countries around the Mediterranean to create a fairer, more democratic and more united area. Convinced that peace in the region can only be achieved on the basis of respect for human rights, gender equality and the right of peoples to self-determination, the REF intends to be a forum for action, exchange of practices and reflection for French civil society actors involved in the Mediterranean basin.
On 2 June 2023, at the General Assembly, the Roberto Cimetta Fund was elected a member of the Board of REF, the Euromed France Network. Manuèle Debrinay-Rizos was elected Vice-President of REF. There are 3 vice-presidents, including FRC member Giovanna Tanzarella.
